All I wanted was to run away for the most romantic wedding possible and was a little bamboozled at all the things we had to consider. You were a great lifesaver and we wouldn’t have managed without you. It was so complicated getting our two families together from Scotland and Australia as well as a whole bunch of American friends. The accommodation, the food taking in the vegetarians, the people who don’t like seafood, the flowers were divine, the mountain of paperwork effortless, the photos are gorgeous … all we had to do was say ‘I do’. Now my sister wants to marry our nest man, can you do it all over again?

We just wanted to write to thank you for your help in organizing our beautiful wedding in Anghiari. The day went perfectly and we were pleased to have your relaxed and friendly help through the process of organizing our day.
You put us immediately on the right track in terms of documentation and successfully coordinated details at short notice. I know you said it wasn’t staged but the onlookers that formed to cheer and clap us after the ceremony definitely made us feel so welcome.
I hope we can be an inspiration for other couples who may want to avoid the hassles and enjoy an elopement in beautiful Tuscany.

My fiance and I came across this site whilst searching for a new wedding venue after losing out on our
original destination. We were looking for somewhere to stay in Tuscany for a week where we could also have both our families there for our wedding sometime during our stay. Initially we searched on google for a large villa but then we found Federica and Lilli’s Castle at Lippiano, near Monterchi. I think it’s fair to say that we both fell in love
with it pretty much straight away.
We then contacted Justine about the whole process of helping to organise everything for the wedding. Having already spent some time looking into getting married in Italy and speaking to several people, I was pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable amount Justine suggested it would cost. From the very start we both got the impression that we were in very capable hands. In fact I have to say that throughout the entire time leading up to the wedding, her communication went way beyond what you could reasonably expect. It was not unusual to receive email replies within minutes, even when
we sent them late at night!!
Safe in the knowledge that everything would be organised for us we didn’t feel the need to come to Italy
beforehand and not once we were worried about what we would find on our arrival for the week of the wedding itself. When we did finally get to the castle it was quite simply stunning. It is just the most fantastic place to stay and a unique and unforgettable venue.
Fede & Lilli are such wonderful people and were great hosts. We had hampers of some of the wine and olive oil the Castle produces in every part we stayed in and they made us very welcome indeed.
Leading up to the wedding day itself, we had to organise a few bits and pieces with the caterers, florists etc. All of these people were recommended by Justine and very efficiently organised by her. All of their services were incredible reasonable, many times cheaper than what it would be in England. Everything was arranged with very little fuss and we just didn’t really have to worry about a thing.
We held the wedding ceremony in the Town Hall in nearby Anghiari. This was a stunning venue, if a little hot in August! Justine organised all the transport to and from the castle and all in all the day itself couldn’t have gone smoother. We had celebratory drinks in the bar adjacent to the Town Hall which has an incredible terrace with views out over the upper Tiber valley. When we came back to the Castle we had hired a DJ that Justine recommended. He had driven over two hours to get there and like everything else, was just fantastic.
A special mention has to go to the caterer Domenico as all our guests simply cannot stop talking about the food at the reception, held in the castle grounds. He supplied all the furniture as well and it was just amazing. The food though was out of this world, all freshly prepared on site by his team. The standard of service was truly exceptional and we could not have hoped for anything better.
In all, Justine was on hand all day should anything need to be done but thankfully it wasn’t the case. Even had something not quite gone to plan, we wouldn’t have worried with her there. Helen and I will be forever greatful to her for making our wedding and the week’s stay at the Castle truly unforgettable. The service she supplied to us was above and beyond anything we could have expected, and this counts for everything during that week. It simply could not have gone better.

We originally contacted Justine at Tuscany Holiday Villa because we were having difficulty in arranging the necessary paperwork with the Italian and British authorities. Right from the beginning Justine was incredibly helpful and gave us the right information to get us started. Even though we wanted a very small family wedding, we had no idea how difficult it would be to make bookings and other arrangements from the UK. Because Justine was based locally, she was able to make all the necessary arrangements on our behalf and in person. She also recommended the best places to eat and celebrate and helped out with some of the local practicalities that we would never have known about.
The day passed without a hitch. Anghiari is a stunning setting for a perfect wedding and the locals were more than welcoming, as they clapped and cheered the bride-to-be as she made her way to the Town Hall. We had a wonderful day, fantastic food and great hospitality and we are enormously grateful to Justine for making sure this happened.

Given the time frame of 2 and a half weeks to coordinate with Domenico on the menu and price, you did an amazing job! THANK YOU for the Catering last Saturday! We are home again now and today I am finally ready to write some mails and to thank You for the great meal. Our guests were very pleased and especially my grandparents, who never ate Italian food before, liked it a lot! The favourites were the pasta and gnocchi, antipasti and dolce. Also Your staff was very friendly, special thanks to Alessandra! Together with Your Catering this last week in Anghiari will always keep a special memory in all of us!
